There is always someone around who will try and tell me - "you are so lucky you travel". I suppose most of these people are not traveling for business and associate getting on a plane and jet lag with a holiday. Well good for them. Traveling for business is simply a different game altogether. I am sitting typing this in the Cathay Pacific Airways Lounge at Heathrow Airport in sunny London. I have been here for less than 48 hours and now await the prospectof flying for a total of 17 hours - via Hong Kong - to get home. I am jet lagged, I am grumpy and I am tired of terrible food.
Nevertheless, I did get to take some cameras with me and foudn 2 hours to make use of them. I was staying in Saint Pancras - where there is one of most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. I had to photograph it. I took my lovely little Sigma Merrills and a Lieca M7, so I can add the digital files now and the film ones once I get them back from my trusty developer. I was amazed by this building……
