Shots from the Photowalk

The photowalk I wrote about in my last post actually produced some photos - 3 rolls of film to be exact. I had a disaster with one of them (for reasons I am yet to work out) with the roll simply too dark for use. That left me with one roll of Fuji Velvia 100 from the Leica M7 and Noctilux combination and 1 roll of Kodak TMAX 400 from the Leica M6 and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 50/1.5. Here are some photos……

In Tokyo even the blandest streets have nice details.

We came across a street festival in Naka Meguro. Seemed like a good excuse to dress, drink a bit and line dance in a Japanese way…..

What festival would be complete without lanterns?

Dave breaks with the "film only" theme - he is more confident taking street photos than I am.

It was a great fun day and I look forward to the next one - with the hope it is a little cooler than the last. Mind you, that made an excellent excuse to head into a bar and have a beer.
